DIY Vlieger & Vandam Inspired Leather Clutch Tutorial from Passions for Fashion here. This is not a really easy DIY, but the instructions are really good. I used Chrome to translate from Danish to English, but in the comments section she has an English translation. I would strongly suggest reading the comments’ section for advice on the thickness of leather. Very cool DIY project.
